One of my favorite ways to spend time alone is to go to the local thrift or antique stores. I recently picked up a few identical gold frames and had no idea what I would use them for initially, but I knew I had to have them! Then, it hit me: do a diy cameo silhouette of my children! They were the perfect size and shape for a small cameo, and it was the perfect project to fill these antique frames.
I instantly fell so in love with the result of this project and how easy it ended up being. I hope you will get the same results and create a timeless treasure you adore for years to come!

DIY Cameo Silhouette
Instructions:
1: Take a side profile photo of your child or desired subject.
2: Upload the photo to ChatGPT with the prompt “Create a silhouette cameo using this photo”.
3: Get your results and print! This was my result:

Depending on your photo, you may need to instruct ChatGPT to clean it up a little and adjust it to your liking, or try a few different positions until you get one you like. If you use the free version, you’re limited to 3 attempts per day.
I printed mine at home. If don’t have a printer, you can order it to be printed online via Walmart, Shutterfly, or wherever you get your photos printed locally!
That’s it! One of the fastest elegant projects you’ll encounter. I’d love to see how your diy cameo silhouette turns out!
