I’m Haley. The voice and heart behind The Blooming Brunette.

I am a wife, mother, creative, and hopeless dreamer. I hail from West Virginia originally, but currently live in North Carolina with my sweet little family. I love being home more than anywhere else in the world. Forest animals are a weakness of mine, as well as anything with a floral print!

I love visiting restaurants that cater to craft cooking, and preparing long meals for my family when time provides. I’m sweet on back porch dwelling with my family in the summer, or sitting by the fire at night in the winter. I can’t help but find life to be so beautiful, and I’m always so grateful to be alive, creating my story with those I love most.

Pretty pictures may hang on the surface of this blog, but behind the scene has seen hardship. From financial rollercoasters, marital ups and downs, a stillbirth from isoimmunization (HDN), a child in the NICU, hospitalization, mental health struggles, and more. This blog is a reflection of those experiences, all of which have had their purpose.
